MSO Marine provides services for both individual and commercial customers.

We are a small firm and all our customers are dealt with individually with the solutions tailored to their needs.

The work undertaken varies from design and build, marina management, new boats, motor launches and houseboats, pier maintenance to survey, repair and maintenance of various craft and installations. Work for insurance purposes and compliance with the boat safety scheme.

The boatyard is well equipped with two dry-docks both having movable hydraulic trestles to enable us to get to all parts of hull, wet docks, an intertidal grid and hard standing with over head lifting gear, a crane-barge and machine workshop with turning and milling facilities.

At MSO we invest in our tools and have up to date modern welding and cutting equipment to make us effective and efficient.

We offer Ultra High Pressure water blasting. The equipment provides water pressure at 2600 Bar to clean all surfaces to bare metal. Surfaces blasted can be painted with high durability epoxy based paints for long-term protection.

We apply epoxy paint with airless spray equipment to ensure rapid application of surface protection driven into the surface of the steel to form a durable seal.

Airless spray painting techniques apply many coats of paint in a fraction of the time compared to hand rolling or brush painting.

Pontoons

At MSO we manufacture access solutions to best suit our customers' requirements. We adjust freeboard and draught to suit the application and any cleats, bollards and service points as required. Our steel pontoons are very robust; their life expectancy is much longer than those with concrete floats with polystyrene in-fills and decking to maintain.

Vessel Conversion

We can convert your commercial steel craft to live aboard dream boat or anywhere in between. We built Hilde the Euro-ship which was awarded ‘Best in Show' in Paris with the DBA.

Welding Services

We undertake all fabrications in Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, and also Polypropylene tanks.
